Life with Alix and Carter

Alix absolutely loves her little brother. I hope she always feels this way :)

Walking on the Jordan River Parkway

Watching movies together

"Don't bug us, Mom. This is a good part!"

Laying on the floor together. Carter looks just like a little frog!

Pictures with Zoey. Alix was not to be left out of this

More pictures of Carter

Well here are a few more pictures of Carter and the rest of the family. It's crazy how much he just fits into our family. I was a little stressed about having two kids but I love it!

Alix was more focused on watching the move than smiling and looking at the camera

Here is my little boy. He is so cute and such a good baby. I highly recommend the rest of my sisters having boys, they are great ;)

Me and Carter hanging out at the hospital

Carter is usually sleeping...unless it's late at night. Then he is wide awake!

My handsome boys. I love them both so much. I am so lucky to have them

Grandma Wolfley and her favorite grandson. I am the only one who can say that and it's actually true!

A rare awake moment during the day

Carter and his proud sister. Alix absolutely adores Carter. I hope he is patient with her, she can be kind of rough!

It's a boy!

Yep... you heard it right! We had a boy tonight at 8:54 after 13 hours. We named him Carter Ross Farnsworth. He was 7 lbs. 14 oz. and 21.5 in. Mom and kiddo are doing just fine and Dad is going to make it. ~Dad

Camping at Clover Springs

We went camping last month to Clover Springs. It is only about 35 minutes from our house and we had a lot of fun!

Alix hanging out at the table eating chips. I think eating is her third favorite thing to do while camping. The first is hanging out with Dad and her second favorite thing is exploring

Alix and Jeremy hanging out. She cannot get enough of him!

Alix was snuggling with Jeremy's leg while they were standing by the fire. It was pretty cute

Our cute little family. I think my face is a little fat. I'll blame that on being pregnant :)

This is my favorite picture of Alix from camping. She is such a cheeseball

Me in the middle of nowhere. We went exploring and weren't exactly sure how to make it home! But we did get to see some cool new places like Simpson Springs, Lookout pass and lots and lots of open space

Big Girl Bed

In February we bought Alix a toddler bed and last week we started putting her to bed in it. We had a rough first week.

Night number 1:
It took an hour to get Alix to stay in her room and sleep in her bed but she finally fell asleep

Night number 2:
It took an hour and a half this time to get Alix to stay in her room. This is where we found her when we checked on her

Nap number 1:
Alix did not want to nap in her bed, obviously. I have no idea how she can sleep like this!

Nap number 3:
I think she likes to sleep on the floor! She slept on a pile of books the day before during naptime

Alix is getting better at sleeping in her floor but I think it's cute when I find her in random places instead of her bed. Now we just need to get that binky away from her!

Valentines day, anniversary, Moab trip and fun stuff!

My husband noticed I hadn't posted anything in awhile and looking at all the pictures on my camera I guess he is right.

Alix likes to climb up in the rocking chair and rock. She always says "ee aaa" (yeehaw!)

She also likes to read with Dad...Jeremy doesn't get a lot of reading done when they read together :)
Alix thinks she needs to be the center of Dad's attention

I definitely think Alix gets more reading done than Jeremy does when they read together

Alix and Brinley sharing Alix's toys. I don't think they'll both fit on that train at the same time for much longer

Happy Valentine's Day to Alix from cousin Alison!

Family picture on our anniversary. Happy 3rd anniversary to us! One baby and one on the way...we don't waste time do we :)

Alix's first haircut. There wasn't much to cut but her hair was so uneven so it was really just a hair trim

We bought Alix a toddler bed that she has yet to sleep in all night. She likes to play in it but when we put her to bed in it she ends up standing at the door crying. Good thing we have 3 months before the baby comes!

Grandma Wolfley made this cute dress for Alix for Christmas. I love it!

We went to Moab for Jeremy's great uncle's funeral and afterwards we went for a walk. This is Alix and Grandma throwing rocks into the Green river. I think it should be called the brown river. It was pretty murky!

The crazy Farnsworth clan we went to Moab with. Poor Alix, she doesn't stand a chance at being normal ;)

I know there are lots of pictures of Alix but she is a cutie pie!

One morning we went for a walk with Grandma, here is Alix all bundled up. It was cold

Today Alix and I were playing outside and she decided to ride the neighbors bike. Well, it wasn't such a good idea because she face planted it. Here are her battle wounds. Maybe next time she'll pick a smaller bike!
