Happy Birthday Jeremy!

It was Jeremy's birthday on the 3rd of January so we went skiing!

This is us on one of the ski lifts. It got so blasted cold going up those, I think by noon or one it was only 5 or 10 degrees up there, brrrh!

We went skiing for Larry's (Jeremy's Dad) birthday since his was the 30th of December. This is Jeremy, Bob Drennan, Larry, Tyler and Mike

Jeremy is an awesome skiier! I wanted to get a video of him going off some jumps but it was too cold for me to take my hands out of my gloves to do that!

After skiing we went to Bonnie and Larry's house for dinner and presents. Doesn't Jeremy's hair look awesome? ;) I made him a plate from Alix that has her footprints on it

We had a busy Christmas this year! My sister Kristie and her family drove to Utah from Texas so we had all the grandkids together for the first time! We took them to see Santa first

Then we all made gingerbread houses. I have a couple of hams for nieces! They are so funny!

Jeremy, Alix and I went to our good friend's wedding, Kathrine. This was the first wedding Alix got to go to! We manned the chocolate fountain that night at the reception and boy was it tasty!

On Christmas Eve all the granddaughters got to open one present and they all got cute princess pajamas. The smallest size they had was 12 months but surprisingly enough, they fit Alix perfectly!

Merry Christmas! On Christmas morning we opened our presents at our apartment then went out to my mom and dad's to open presents there. It was a blizzard!

The abominable snowman! Dad plowed the lane for us with the tractor, he was caked with snow by the time he was done!

Princess jammies!

Mom made new matching dresses for all the granddaughters. She worked so hard and had them all done but Alix's! But they sure are cute!

It was so sad to say goodbye to Kristie, Mark, Maddie and Sydnie but we had so much fun with them!

And this is Alix and her cousin Kelson. He is 20 months old and he just loves Alix! They are both cuties!

This year and last

I finally downloaded pictures from last year's Christmas from an old camera. So this was last year...

And this is this year. Isn't it crazy how time just flies by and how different things are in the space of a year?

Last year it was just me and Jeremy, this year we have the cutest little girl ever! Last year Mom and Dad had four granddaughters, this year they have six with another grandkid on the way! (Kristie, not me!) Kellie was still in high school and living at home, now she is up at college and there are only two kids left at home. Who knew that would happen so quick!

Well, we are very thankful for our family and for all the blessings we have in our lives. We have more than we need and we are so grateful! Here's to another great year! Happy New Year everybody!

Awhile ago Jeremy set me up my own website in hopes we could get a business going for my artwork. The website turned out great, but it never really went anywhere. Firsts for Alix

Alix has had a lot of firsts the last few weeks. This is her first trip to Logan to visit Auntie Kellie. She slept most of the time!

This is Alix's first football game party...BYU vs UofU...good thing she picked the right team to cheer for! She slept most of the time

And this is Alix's first birthday party with her friend Brinley. Jenessa, Brinley's mom, got a great picture of her smiling. And of course, she slept the whole time, are you surprised???
